At this luncheon, we’ll shine a light on the important work of The Cove Center for Grieving Children and the impact the organization has on families in our community. Allison Gamber, Executive Director of The Cove, will walk us through: • The Cove’s mission of bringing hope and healing to grieving children and families • The wide range of programs and services available to support them • How children process grief differently from adults • Practical ways we can all support grieving children • Opportunities to help strengthen and sustain The Cove’s mission We’ll also hear from our President, Alyssa Tumolo, who will share her own story and how The Cove helped her and her mom navigate the loss of her father when she was a child.
This program is about learning, connecting, and finding meaningful ways to support children and families on their journey through grief.
